My girls just loved these when I originally made them two years ago. They do take some time to rise, so I prepared these the day before, partially cooked them then refrigerated them until Christmas morning. While we were opening presents, I popped them in the oven to finish cooking; then iced them while they were piping hot. DELICIOUS!
