ZipList Partnership Announcement

I am so THRILLED to announce my new partnership with ZipList!

If you're not familiar with ZipList, the site allows you to search and save recipes from thousands of popular food websites (including those from Carrie's Experimental Kitchen!) to your personal recipe box; then allows you to add the ingredients directly to your grocery list. You can then sort your favorite recipes by source, ingredients or cook time and add them to your weekly meal planner. How cool is that!

Here is what you have to do:

1. If you don't have a ZipList account, start one today. It's free!

2. Open your favorite recipe on Carrie's Experimental Kitchen; then click the 'Save Recipe' button. It's that simple! I'll be working on adding the 'Save Recipe' button to my older posts, but in the meantime, if you see a recipe without the button that you wish to save, please leave a comment on the specific recipe post or send an email to carrieexpktchn(at)optonline(dot)net and I'll let you know when it's ready!

Once you're logged into your ZipList account, you can do a whole host of things to help with your menu planning and grocery shopping. Here are some of the fabulous features:

Once you click 'Save Recipe', the recipe has now been added to your own personal recipe box. To see all of the recipes you have saved, click on 'Go To Recipe Box'.

It will take you to the 'Recipes' tab where you can tag and sort your saved recipes. Click on each individual recipe if you would like to add it to your weekly menu plan.

You can also click on 'My Meal Planner' and add your recipes to a specific day and send your meal plan to your calendar (Google, iCal, etc.) so your recipes are easily viewable in your daily schedule.

Switch to the 'My Lists' tab where you can add items to your grocery list

If you click on the $ icon next to your item, a window will pop up with locations and dollar values of where you can purchase eggs.

Then click 'Grocery Deals' tab, where you can find coupon savings in your local area. Don't forget to add the ZipList Recipe Clipper to your toolbar for easy access!

Do you have an iPhone or an Android? Perfect. ZipList has got you covered with their free mobile apps. You can scan and add items to your list with their mobile apps to ensure you pick up the right product every time. Just connect your online account to your mobile app. Your grocery list and recipe box automatically sync across devices and online anytime you make a change, so you are always up-to-date.

Isn't this new feature on Carrie's Experimental Kitchen AMAZING! I am so excited to be a ZipList partner and can't wait to hear your feedback. I don't know about you, but this will certainly make my weekly menu planning much easier!
